FC Goa vs Bengaluru FC ISL 2023-24: Preview, Predicted Lineups,Team Updates and Injury Updates

FC Goa vs Bengaluru FC ISL 2023-24: FC Goa, which has qualified for the playoffs, will face Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League on March 14th. The match will be played at Fatorda Stadium in the evening at 7:30 pm. If Bengaluru FC wants to qualify for the playoffs, they must win all matches. The team is ranked 8th in the points table of ISL, so far the team has played 18 matches out of which they have scored 21 points while winning 5, losing 7 and including 6 draws.

Their performance in the last 5 matches has been excellent as it includes 3 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw which came while playing at the home of Jamshedpur FC. They have not won the last 10 matches while playing away from home, whereas they have had to face 3 draws and 7 defeats. Their performance while playing away from home has been very disappointing. They are going to play Thursday’s match away from home. | It will be interesting to see whether they can improve their performance and win the match.

FC Goa

Goa is the fourth team to qualify for the play-offs and is at 4th position in the ISL points table. Till now 18 matches have been played in which 33 points have been obtained which includes 9 wins, 3 losses and 6 draws. If we talk about the last 5 matches, then only one win has come in their account while 2 losses and 2 draws are also included.

Playing at home, the team has won out of the last 10 matches while losing 3 and drawing one which came against Mumbai City FC. In the points table, Bengaluru is behind Goa by 12 points while the same number of points are needed for the play-offs. Both the teams last met on January 17 in the Kalinga Cup in which Goa won the match 1-0.

Injury Updates

The only scope for change in Goa’s team is the defender Jhingan is already struggling with injury in the team, he did not even play his last match. In the end, the only team that could be seen was against Punjab. Carl McHugh has played an important role as a midfielder for FC Goa and can be an early threat for any team. He has provided one goal and two assists for the team with his performances this season.

Head coach Manolo Marquez said in the press conference that in the last match against Punjab, the defense appeared weak due to which Punjab managed to score a goal, and asked to think about their defense before the start of the match against Bengaluru FC.

On the other hand, there is good news for Bengaluru FC that till now no one has been injured in their team and the team is completely fit, as far as it seems there is less chance of seeing changes in the team, because the team has won the last few matches.
