UFC 300 is going to be an event that can surprise everyone in which one fighter can win or lose while one can fight his last UFC fight and the main one could be Calvin Kattar. Which may be surprising for everyone.

Calvin Kattar UFC journey: 6 fight nights, 4 title bouts, 2 major wins

Kattar has been a fighter who has not achieved much in his UFC career because when he got a chance to perform in the main event in 2021, he could not capitalize on that opportunity and faced defeat against Max Holloway. Since then there has been no impact on his career but after this defeat he made a comeback against Giga Chikadze at the 2022 Fight Night event.

Calvin Kattar has appeared in a total of six UFC Fight Night events in his UFC career, four of which have come close to the title, and two victories have come against Dan Ige and Giga Chikadze.

He started his UFC career in 2017 against Andre Fili in which he won by Unanimous decision (U-Dec). He has fought a total of 12 fights in his UFC career, out of which he has won 7. He fought his last fight against Arnold Allen in 2022 in which he had to face defeat.

Aljamain Sterling aims to repeat Max Holloway’s success against Kelvin Kattar at UFC 300 Showdown

The 36-year-old Kattar is scheduled to face Aljamain, known as the “Funk Master”, in the featherweight division in the prelims of UFC 300. Aljamain is a fighter who forces any opponent to surrender.

The longest winning streak is in the name of Aljamain Sterling as he had won 9 consecutive wins in his UFC career but this long winning streak was ended by Sean O’Malley in 2023 when he lost his bantamweight title via knockout punches at UFC 292.

Aljamain has defended the title four times in his UFC career and was successful in defending his title. He has fought a total of 19 fights in his career, out of which he has won 15 while facing defeat in 4.

To defeat Calvin Kattar, Aljamain prepared a strategy in which he planned to copy the fight of Max Holloway, in fact Kattar had lost against Holloway. And Aljamain wants to repeat the same defeat and make this fight memorable in UFC 300 in the featherweight division.

If Kattar wins against Aljamain, then he will hardly be able to continue his career further because he is almost 36 years old. If he loses, then it could be the last fight of his career in the octagon ring.
