Bengaluru FC emerged victorious 1-0 in a thrilling encounter against Kerala Blasters at the Sree Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium in Bengaluru in the Indian Super League 2023-24. The match saw plenty of action and Javi Hernandez scored a late winner to take Bengaluru FC into the top six of the league table.

As the clock ticked towards the 90th minute, the decisive moment arrived when Javi Hernandez calmly fired the ball into the bottom right corner, making it 1-0 for Bengaluru FC.

In the final moments, Diamantakos had a chance to level the score, but Bengaluru’s Jovanovic saved it. The referee added five minutes of injury time, but Kerala Blasters could not take advantage of this opportunity. Bengaluru FC secured three vital points with this win, taking them to sixth place in the league’s points table.

The decisive moment came in the 89th minute when Sivaldo delivered a precise cross to Javi Hernandez on the edge of the box. Hernandez took a clever first-time shot, burying the ball into the bottom right corner, giving the Kerala Blasters goalkeeper no chance to save.

Throughout the match, both the teams performed brilliantly, with Vibin, Rahul, Suresh and others creating chances for Bengaluru FC while Kerala Blasters countered with efforts from Amen, Fedor and Williams. The game was tightly contested, with crucial saves from Sandhu ensuring Bengaluru FC’s clean sheet.
