Bengaluru fc vs Odisha fc: Indian Super League (ISL) is coming back again, after matchweek 19, Indian team went to play FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers match against Afghanistan. The matchweek is set to begin with 20 big fixtures which will see Bengaluru FC and Odisha FC playing on the weekend on Saturday 29th March 2024 at 05:00 PM at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.


After an international break of about 14 days, ISL matches will be in action in Week 20, the first match on this weekend will be between Odisha and Bengaluru. In this break, there were two rounds of matches in the Inter-Zonal Semi-Finals Qualifiers of Odisha AFC Cup, in which in the first round, Central Coast Mariners won 4-0 while playing at home, while in the second round, Odisha FC won 4-0 at home.

While playing I could not avenge the defeat and the match ended in a 0-0 draw. And Central Coast Mariners qualified for the next round.

On the other hand, Bengaluru FC played its last match in ISL against FC Goa on March 14 in which FC Goa won that match easily. In the initial period of this match, Shivaldo Singh from Bengaluru gave the team the lead by scoring a goal within 2′ minutes. In response, FC Goa’s Odei Onaindia and Boris Singh scored goals and stole three important points from Bengaluru.

Odisha FC last played against Chennaiyin FC in ISL in which Odisha had to face defeat 2-1. Chennai FC had taken the lead in the beginning of the match. Jordan Murray scored a goal on Ankit Mukherjee for Chennai while Roy Krishna of Odisha FC scored a goal.

Only two places are left in the play-off as four teams have already secured their places in which Mumbai City FC, Mohun Bagan SG, FC Goa and Odisha FC have secured their places. Bengaluru FC is out of the play-offs. Bengaluru FC remains at seventh position in the ISL points table with 21 points in 19 matches.

So far, Bengaluru FC has won a total of 5 matches, lost 6 matches and drawn 8 matches. In the last six matches, they won 3, lost 2 while one match was a draw against Jamshedpur FC. Bengaluru FC has made a lot of changes in their game, this change is taking their team in the right direction.

On the other hand, Odisha FC has qualified for the ISL play-offs. In the points table, Odisha FC has scored a total of 35 points, playing a total of 18 matches, winning 10 matches, losing 5 and drawing 3 matches. In the points table, Odisha remains at the fourth position, just above them is FC Goa who is at the third position with 36 points.

Injury Updates

During the international break, many players who were injured got a chance to make a comeback. Bengaluru FC head coach Grayson has confirmed that Javi Hernandez may stay away from the field for some time due to personal reasons against Odisha FC. Grayson said “We have now been away from the field for almost two weeks, so it is a good time for the players to return, we can expect some players to come back.”

On the other hand, many players have emerged in the Odisha FC team and all eyes will be on Roy Krishna because he failed to score a single goal against Central Coast and the team coach is thinking of him blossoming as a forward. Krishna Roy has scored a total of 12 goals so far this season.
